Looking for connections with a WALTER TURNER (my paternal grandfather). He was born in 1885 in Upper Holloway, and was the son of Daniel Turner (b.1844 Hampstead) and Eliza Elliott (b.1846 St. George in the East, Middx). Walter's siblings were Emma (b.c. 1869), Alice (b.c.1871), Ellen (b.c.1878), Alfred (b.c. 1880), James (b.c.1883) and May (b.c. 1890) - all born in either Islington or Clerkenwell. Walter married Emma Louise Pudney (b. 1888 Tottenham) in 1909 in Edmonton, Middx. They had five children, all born in Tottenham - Albert Henry (b. 1911), Lilian Doris (b.1913), James Daniel (b. 1915), Edna Violet (b. 1920), and Ernest Edward (b. 1923). Walter Turner was a tram driver, and died in Edmonton, Middx in 1971. His wife, Emma Louise, died in 1960. Any connections please? Chris |
