I am trying to locate my grandfather John Lewis Evans born England 1873. He was the second child of William John Evans (son of John Evans and Mary) and Jane Lewis married in 1869. Jane and William immigrated to Australia from London on 9th December 1875 aboard the 'Western Monarch' and arrived in Brisbane 27th March 1876. Their children were Elizabeth Jane Evans b 7th Dec 1872 at East Dean, Gloucester, John Lewis Evans b 1873. Susannah b 1874 died while on voyage to Australia at age one, Thomas b 1883 MSW, Hannah/Ammie b 1855 NSW, Clara b 1887 NSW, (There were 3 males and 4 females deceased at the time of Jane's death in 1887) William John Evans remarried in 1913 to Margaret Cook at Wollongong NSW (no issue) and died 5th October 1928.
