I am tring to find any information about my family tree My Mothers name was Grace Canning nee Robinson, she was born in Normanton in Snydale Road in 1915 ,she had two sisters Lilian and MARY ,three brothers,Gorden,Frank and Edward(Ted). My mothers father was called Joshua Joseph Robinson he D.O.B.1895.at Ackworth Moortop W/Yorks. he married Florance Earnshaw nee Wainwright from Featherstone i think. His father was called Joseph Robinson D.O B 1861 he used to be a stonemason and either lived near or at a quarry.he married Agnes Augusta Heap Joseph father was called George dont know anything about him other than he was possibly a preacher at Akworth any bells ringing regards janet |
