Member Since: August 2005 Posts: 3 Send Message	Hi my name is Karen and I am trying to find out about my Grandfather Joseph Mitchell. Joseph was a timber merchant from the stoneycroft area of liverpool. born in approx 1899 the son of Authur Mitchell also a timber merchant (and maybe Alice nee Tilley), he may also have had a sister named Alice E Mitchell born approx 1901) But I maybe wrong about that as I could only find the one entry in the 1901 census and could have missed something. Joseph married Ethel Crebbin on the 8th July 1922 aged 23. in 1925 they had a son also named Joseph (my dad) at sometime before 1929 they divorced. My grandmother then remarried and became Ethel Vaughan, I have no idea what happened to my Grandfather after this as he was never mentioned and we only found out about him after my nana died. I would be very greatful if anyone can help (maybe from old family stories).
