Looking for any info on the following people. Richard Hill b abt 1820ies?= ? Had a William Hill b abt 1848. Married twice,first wife died second wife was Esther Carr-they married morpeth registry office on the /17june/1876. they were shown as living at sleekburn(East Sleekburn?). Esther apparently is living on her own in Northumberland in1901at Guidepost,choppington/bedlington with 8 children. (whether or not they are all hers I dont know as yet!) Children were John,Wiliam,Robert,Richard,Ben(Benjamin?),Albert,Esther and James b11/11/1884 stakeford,Bedlington,morpeth,northumberland. Believed to either have been born in the North East,Northumberland,Durham,Tyne&Wear areas. just found the following info.James Hill b1884 married 14/07/1906 to a mary ann Hodgson-at the time of his marriage he was living at Thompson's Buildings,Sheepwash bank,choppington, northumberland,his father william was a coalminer and shown as deceased. if this info rings any bell please could you let me know.many thanks karen hill |
