ann clifford looking for lees born in wike[wyke] bradford west yorkshire. herbert lee bn abt 1842 married to martha bn abt1839. had allan bn abt 1865 married norah ann barraclough they had 6/7 girls and 2 boys. caroline bn 1869[my g grandma] married william sowden 10/09/1887.had a son gilbert. sam lee bn abt 1871 amos bn abt 1873 emma bn abt1875 fred bn abt 1880 ann bn 1881 sarah e bn abt 1862 i know a little of the aboves lives from st marys church records wyke. they were coalminers and mill workers. but have hit a block at herbert i belive he was born hartshead moor area and was from a large family with possible links to romany gypsies? would love to hear from any one who can connect to my lees reguards ann |
