I am trying to find info on my grandfather, Edwin Evans 1871----1938. He was born at The Mill, Langunlo, Wales. His mother's name was Catherine, 1836---1910 (we do not have any info on his father). Catharine's mothers name was Mary Morgan or Evans b. circa1799/1802. Edwin had at least 2 sisters. Fanny who was a Domestic Science teacher. She married George Stokes and they had a son George. Fanny had a Boarding house in Dolgelly. Merionethshire, N. Wales The house's name is Tegfryn. Sister Eleanor, we do not have any info on her. My grandfather Edwin was in U.S.A. for a number of years. Apparently he 'broke in horses'. He then went to Ireland and from there to Stranraer, Scotland where he met my grandmother, Mary Keatings. If anyone has any info on Edwin or any of the above I would love to hear from them |
