I'm currently looking for any Evans' That are from Haimwood Llandrinio, powys (or montgomeryshire in the older census). This is on my gran mothers side and i believe Evans's were still residence @ Haimwood till certainly mid 1900's. I have linked a great great great uncle to be the land lord of the Fir Tree Inn, which is still around in crew green shropshire. Many of the ancestors can be found burried at Llandrinio and i also believe some may be burried at Welshpool. I know alot of the Males tended to be fisher man, and me Great Grandad worked in canada many years, so i don't know but do wonder if any off his brothers, sisters, uncles etc may have also been there, or just died young as i'm not able to find all relations from 1 census to the next. Any information and i would be grateful |
