Hi, I'm trying to find ANYTHING at all on my step-Grandad Reginal Charles Taylor, born 19 Nov 1916 in Leicestershire (I think). He had some siblings and I think one was a sister. He told me that his mother was an alcoholic and his father was in the army. Reg and his siblings were put into Barnardo's and I believe they were fostered out seperately. Reginal Charles Taylor was in WW2 and I believe was amongst the first british troops to enter Germany, anyone remember him. I think he may have a connection to one of the Highland Regiments. He married Florence Hilda Southwell after the war, she was a divorcee and her married name had been Lyle. They lived, and died in Torquay Here's hoping, and thank you |
