Trying to find Brown

Mary Report 8 Jun 2005 11:07

Anyone have any details about Sydney Stephen Brown. He was born in Brompton Kent in 1831. He was a Chelsea pensioner in 1881 and he was then living in Everton Liverpool with his wife Esther and their five children. He was my great grandfather. His eldest daughter Mary Elizabeth was my grandmother. I am wanting to find out what regiment he was in and what battles he fought in. And did he get any medals. He would have been 23 at the beginning of The Crimean War. I am wondering if he fought in that. If anyone does have any information I would love to hear from them. Mary Mitchell
