Can anyone help me trace the ancestors or descendents of my gt gt grandfather on my father's paternal side, GEORGE BROWN, b. Lincoln area 1824. He married Jane, and together they had at least 10 children, about whom I've managed to glean the following information so far. THOMAS (b. 1848) (stayed in Lincs - wife Sarah, sons George and John) HARRIET(b. 1849) MARY ANN (b. 1851) (stayed in Lincs - husband George ROE, children Florence, Eva, Lavinia, George, Elsie, Frank, Louise, Tom) (These children were dispersed in 1901 census -what happened to the parents?) JOHN (b. 1853) CHARLES (b. 1855) HENRY (my gt grandfather, b. 1857) (moved to Salford- married Elizabeth ROBERTS from Denbighshire, children Harold Kingsley - my granddad, Gladys, Muriel, Dorothy. Moved to Edinburgh late 1800s, where stayed until his death, and where my father Alastair was born) GEORGE (b. 1859) (moved to Salford- married Emily, sons Harry and Frank; then married Mary, sons Arthur and Cecil) ESAW OLIVANT (b. 1861; only recorded in 1861 census - did he die in infancy?) WILLIAM (b. 1866) (moved to N.Manchester; married Sarah Hunt; daughters Florence and Edith) LOUISA (b. 1870) (moved to N. Manchester; married Joseph WEBB; son Clifford ).
