My Grandfather was JOHN HENRY ROBERTS, born circa 1882. It is believed he was born in NEWTON LE WILLOWS/WARRINGTON area. His father was also JOHN a bootmaker. JOHN HENRY had a younger brother who later married and went to live in Manchester with his two sons and a daughter, Nora. John also had a younger sister, AMY. She married, (for the second time), TOM EYRE and they had a son, RONNIE, about 1930. When John (the bootmaker) died his wife remarried someone by the name of LANE. I have John Henry Roberts marriage and death certificates, but cannot find his birth. Please can anyone help? |
