	Been trying and trying to find info. regarding a John Henry Bell who married a Laura Dugan probably around 1880 to 1890. We believe he was either Welsh or Irish and was a soldier. When Laura Dugan left with him to go to Wales and then Leeds, Yorkshire ..... her family back in Portsmouth, Hampshire cut off contact with them. She came from a fairly large family with several sisters and one brother. But as regards John Henry Bell ....we know very little apart from him being a skilled bootmaker. Does this story ' ring any bells ' for any Bells out there ??? Thanks Jim Stewart
