Trying to find Harris

Trying to find information on Harris's from Ludlow, Salop (Shropshire). Definite information I have is William Harris (b. c1845 Ludlow), wife - Elizabeth Harris (b. c1865 Sibdon? probably mistranscribed as Libdon, Salop), children - Frederick (b. c1891), Elizabeth (b. c1894) and Julia (b. c 1896) all in Ludlow. William was a shoemaker and Elizabeth's maiden name was probably Thomas. There may also be a link with the surname Evans. Elizabeth (daughter) probably married George H Poole in 1919, and certainly went on to have a son, Harold, in 1920. They later moved to Blackpool, Lancs to run a boarding house and George? worked on the Great Western Railway. Julia never married and has no direct descendants. Frederick, from what I was told, broke off an engagement with a girl in Ludlow and moved to Canada with his new fiancee/wife. Any info, particularly on links to Thomas, Poole or Evans much appreciated. thanks |
