My great grandfather was a Charles Joseph Colbourne Carter. He was a music teacher in Tideswell in the 1890s. My grandfather's (Cecil Eustace Carter) birth certificate states he was born at Blake House Tideswell 1891. There was another son (Victor). According to relatives Charles Joseph Colbourne Carter and his son Victor left and went to South Africa. |
