hi all, im trying to do my dads family tree, and having a very hard time of it..im looking for a KATIE WILSON. she married ARTHUR JOHN HUMPHREY,on the 30th april 1899 in surrey. arthur and katie had a daughter HELENA MABEL(we believe she was really MABEL HELENA,but changed her name around),born 4th october 1899 in godstone surrey,and a son LESLIE JOHN born in sussex on the 28th december 1905.WE BELIEVE KATIE REMARRIED AFTER JOHN WAS KILLED TO A HENRY GEORGE EDWARD ELLIOTT.HELENA married my grandad GEORGE THORNE in portsmounth on the 9th sept 1919.they had 3 children FRANCIS ANDERSON GEORGE THORNE born 1920,jhansi india(george was stationed out there just after his marriage to helena) JOHN HUMPHREY WILSON THORNE born 1923-24,jhansi india JOYCE WINSOM THORNE born 1925 totnes devon. thanks for reading my e-mail. take care debbie |
