Trying to find information of William Morris born Liverpool about 1846. and wife Amelia b. about 1851 Liverpool, William was a Dock Labourer. I have found William in 1871 living with his mother Sarah (a widow) and relatives' The Pattison(Patterson) family'. In 1881 he was married to Amelia (formerly Martin) living Cazneau St. In 1891 they were at Burrough Gardens, Liverpool and in 1901 they were at 1 Lark Hill, Preston. I think the Patterson family also had previously moved to the Preston address in 1881 with Williams mother Sarah. Amelia and William had children Sarah,George,William,Harriet, Mary A. and Margaret and Amelia. Searching for any details regarding William and Amelia's marriage probably Liverpool circa 1865 - 75 or there parenthood. A selection of Brophy/Blemdale and Jordan relatives seem to appear with them over the years! |
