Not a Trying to Find as such, but more of a Do you Know?? My mum's family lived at 41 High Street, Wavertree. They were Harold and Muriel Wright and had a daughter Emmeline (my mother), born in 1936. Her nickname was Daisy and she had a younger brother Tommy. Muriel worked in the chip shop in Wavertree during the war, but I don't know the location. She also worked at the Meccano factory in Binns Road (perhaps you were a work colleague?). Harold's mother Sarah Ellen (Nell) might also have been living in High Street, her husband was Alfred Ernest Wright. Daisy lived in High Street until around 1954, when she moved to Grosvenor Road. Were you a school friend, or did you work with her at some stage? The council later pulled down 41 High Street along with a few others, and I think it's now called Rose Gardens and is run by the Wavertree Society. If this brings back any memories for anyone please get in touch with me, I'd love to hear from you!
