I am trying to find information on my great great great grandfather Alexander Brown Think Alexander was probably born abt 1815-1818. Alexander was married to Margaret formerly Lewis. Margaret may have been born in Liverpool. I am unable to find a marriage certificate for Margaret and Alexander. Alexander was a stonemason living in BugLawton Congleton Cheshire in 1849. Their son David my grt grt grandfather was born there that year at Canalside. They may also have had a daughter Mary born abt 1846 and other children that I am not so far aware of. Iam also trying to find Information on my other great great great grandparents Joseph Brown and Jane Brown formerly Scott. Jane was the daughter of David Scott born Langholm Sotland 1803 and Margaret born Hawick Scotland. Joseph was a train driver on the Caledonian Railway. They had Margaret b. Carlisle 1849 Henrietta Jane b 1852 Carlisle and Joseph b. Birkenhead abt 1862. I am unable to find a wedding certificate for Joseph and Jane. I would be very grateful for any information. |
