Trying to find any information about BLANCHE EILEEN MITCHELL, she stated on her marriage 1913 certificate that her father was John Mitchell a Sgt Major in the Cameron Highlanders. I have been unable to trace her birth on either 1837 indexes, or on the Scotspeople indexes, also unable to trace her father. At a later time, she claimed hr maiden name was Fraser, and dropped the Eileen, which was her real name? According to the age given on certificate she would have been born 1892, but was this correct? Any information would be most appreciated, have been searching for her details for 12 years, can anyone help??? |
