I am trying to find any relatives of my paternal grandfather, EDWARD THOMPSON born March 1896 in Northants. Married, went to Melbourne, Australia around 1917. He lived initially in Neville Street there. His wife and children returned to UK in 1918 and he may have re-married and had another family. We don't know if he returned to UK. His first wife was Ethel and his first family was Edward, Laura, Philip and Hettie. Edward worked for the Telegraph Company in Melbourne area. Any information would be most welcome. Edward had brothers - one was called Henry and a sister called May. There are links with Stratford, London My name is now Anne Riggs |
