Hi We are trying to find any info on RONALD AUSTIN BAKER. He was born in Strood in Kent on 2/7/1926 to Cissie May Baker, a housekeeper domestic. His father not on birth certificate. He had been sent to Dr Barnardo's and various foster homes then he was a stoker on a minesweeper in world war 2 (don't know which one) stationed at Chatham in Kent. He later worked at Heathrow airport as a tow truck driver, but died in 1975. Leaving his wife Molly and one son Michael (my husband). Ron had been previously married to a Doreen Catherine Baker nee Holliday-Scott from Hounslow she worked in a shop call Pountneys. They divorced in 1957. Would like to know if they had any children too? If anyone has any info/photo's it would be gratefully received as we would love to fill in the blanks. Kerry Baker |
