Brown's of Barrow-in-Furness Lancashire. 1880 - 1920's Samuel Brown born West Bromwich 1858 the eldest son of John and Ann Brown nee Asbury (my great grandparents) married Elizabeth Jane Baker of Bilston, Staffordshire. on the 9-1-1882 in St. Luke's church, Barrow-in-Furness, Lancashire, they had five children as follows:- Elizabeth Ann born 1884 John Joseph born 1885 Letitia Maud born 1887 George Henry born 1890 Alice born 1892 all in Barrow-in-Furness, Lancashire. There is also a strong working connection of this family with the local Railways. I would be very interested to hear from any family members still residing in the area, with the view of extending my family tree. |
