Looking for details of my maternal grandfather's family. My grandfather Alfred John Henry COX (dob 7.12.1900, dod 11.3.1990) was the eldest of 4 children (Arthur, Harold and Adelaide). His parents were Adelaide FARROW and Alfred Richard COX (known as Richard). Alfred Richard COX was a tobacco frier in Wapping. He later moved the family from the East End of London to Forest Gate before moving the family to Suffolk c1910. My gt gt grandfather was also Alfred COX married to Rosina/Rose/Rosalyn (we're not sure of the name), he was a lighterman. My grandfather was born in Mile End Old Town. Also had family connections (not sure which side of the family) in Spitalfields/Whitechapel. Would love to know if anyone has any additional information about my COX family. Would like to know about Alfred R. Cox and his siblings and also his father, etc, etc. Please let me know if you have any info. THANKS!
