hi i am trying to find my grandad colin wallace anderson he was born in lochgelly fife, dec 1923 his parents were sarah jane & andrew anderson, his brother's and sisters were kate, bob, andrewena, ed patrick, his parent's and younger brother & sister emigrated to canada in 1947, but my grandad didn't go with them, my grandad was in the royal navy until dec 1944,when he was invalided out, he married my nan marie davis in jan 1944 in newcastle upon tyne, but their marraige didn't last sadly, my mum hasn't seen her dad since she was around 2yrs old, she has been searching for him for as long as i can remember, he would know her as daisy anderson, they lived in poplar at the time, around 1940/45 we now no that he didn't follow his family to canada as i have recently found my grandads youngest sister andrewena still living in canada she is over the moon at being reunited with my mum it has been a life long dream for them both but sadly no one has seen my grandad since he went to visit his family in newcastle just before they left for canada, any help would be great many thanks tina |
