Hello all,I am new to this game so do not know if anyone can help.I am looking for infomation about my grandfather HERBERT ALFRED WRIGHT. he was born in london in1859/60 and as a boy was placed on one of the SHAFTSBURY HOMES SAILING SHIPS moored in the thames. He moved to KINGS LYNN in norfolk and married my grandmother agnes in c1885.They had four sons HERBERT,SIDNEY,RICHARD.AND WILLIAM who was my father.My father was born in 1889.he did not get married until he was 42 then had 10 of us of which I am the second from last,I was b1945.All of my grandparents were dead before I was born so I never met any of them.I do not know if my g/father was a orphan or not, but it appears that a lot of boys sent to the homes were.I would be very happy with any help that can be given.Many Thanks,E.
