Trying to find descendants of William Allen, born 1847 in ASTON, Birmingham, UK. He married Agnes Morris from HAY, Breconshire and they had 6 children; Robert, c1888, Eliza Tudor, May 1890, Agnes, Nov 1893, Jack, May 1895[my father], Bessie, c 1898 and Basil, Oct 1899. Jack served in WW1 and lost an eye at Gallopoli. He was married twice, once to my mother in 1949 and prior to that I believe his 1st wife died. There were children from this marriage and I remember a Renee[my godmother], Beryl, Billy and, I think, Freddy. They lived in Abingdon Road, [ Erdington or Perry Common ] and were friends with the Crowther Family [Wilf. Bill and Trevor]. I only recently found out about Jack's brothers and sisters and my half brothers and sisters may remember me as Lynn and I was about 3 or 4 when we last had contact. I would love to make contact with any family members. |
