Trying to find out any information on James Lewis born around 1867. On the 1901 census it states that he was born in Bristol, Gloucestershire,but on his married to Margaret Williams in Dec 25th 1889 was living in Pontypool. He is listed on the 1891 census as being born in Pontypool. So not sure which is correct. On his marriage certificate his father's name is not listed. Margaret & James had at least 5 children. James, Hilda,(my grandmother) Willie, Lily and Bertie. They all lived in 29 Moreton Street Trevethin, Pontypool. If you have anyinformation with regards to my great grandfatherI would love to hear from you. |
