I'm looking for info on my grandmothers family - so far this is what I know :- DAVID HUGHES (her father)born1889, m. 1924 to MARY JAMES born1895. (Marys parents were DAVID JAMES ( Pembs)& REBECCA EVANS (Porth). BENJAMIN HUGHES born 6/4/1856 in Newport parish Pembs.(her grandfather) m. to - MARY ANNE Williams born 25/5/1859 WILLIAM (John?) HUGH (or HUGHES) (her great grandfather) m. to - ANN ? As far as I know they were from Pembrokeshire or somewhere in s.Wales - though I have no information other than names on William and Ann Hugh (or Hughes.) Do you have these names anywhere on your family tree? |
