Trying to find descendants of the Thomas family in the London area, probably Stoke Newington or Islington. William Thomas born 1839 in Builth, Breconshire, Wales married Mary Evans c1835 Llandewi'r Cwn, Breconshire on 30 Aug 1861 in Clerkenwell, William was a Warehouseman. The children were: William P Thomas b July 1862 died 26 May 1931 Eliza Alice Thomas b Nov 1866 died 18 Nov 1947 Albert Edward Thomas b July 1869 died Feb 1915 John Prothero Thomas b May 1871 died 15 Jan 1905 Annie Eleanor Thomas b June 1873 died 1925 Ernest Rowland Thomas b Oct 1875 died Mar 1955 George Henry Thomas b Feb 1878 died April 1946 Arthur Edwin Thomas b Dec 1879 died July 1939 On 1871c William's brother Edward b1847 also from Builth was living with him, he married Jessie Greated b1853 in Clerkenwell 1973 they had 4 children Florence, Eleanor, Clara and Joseph. By 1901 Edward and Jessie had passed away as the 2 girls were living with William Thomas at 10 Digby Road, Stoke Newington. In 1891 William was a licensed Victualler at the Benwell Arms, Benwell Street. I believe at some point both William and Edward were Dairy Men. Do any of these names look familiar, if so I would love to hear from you and hopefully fill in some large gaps in my tree? Regards Jacqueline Allen
