Hi. Trying to trace relatives Edward Davis and Bridget Davis (nee McCahill) who moved from Killybegs, Ireland to New York in 1889. They had one son, William born approx 1990. Bridget died approx 1895 and William was sent back to Ireland to be raised by his father's family. I understand that Edward remarried, although I have no details for his 2nd wife. I also understand they had at least one son, Thomas. He apparently ran a haulage firm in Queens, New York around 1948. I would be very grateful for any details. |
