Brown's of Newborough and Barrow-in-Furness. 1836 to 1905 My grt grandfather John son of Richard and Charlotte Brown nee Turner born 1836 in Newborough married Ann Asbury in St. Matthews church Walsall on the 26th. November 1855, they had seven children as follows:- Samuel born 1858 West Bromwich. Mennell born 1860 Wednesbury. Richard born 1862 Tipton. (my grandfather) Albert Walter born 1864 Tipton. Georgina born 1866 Tipton. Frances Matilda born 1868 Barton-under-Needwood. Margaret Ann born 1870 Walsall. Although I have quite a bit of early information on this side of the family it becomes quite sparse after 1917, hoping for more information from the Barrow-in-Furness area. |
