WOOD/SUMMERFIELD/GROOM My great grandfather was Frederick William Wood he was born in biggleswade in 1873 or 1883 and died in dunstable aged 75 years.He married Ada Emily Franklin Died jan 19 1962 aged 83 years.They are buried in the grave yard at west street dunstable bedfordshire. They had a daughter, Hilda May Wood, born in 1910,Dunstable. That was my grandmother, she married Percy William Summerfield in 1932. I know they lived at Pemberton Gardens,Islington, in 1932, because my mother was born there, also 2 sons. They moved to Dunstable Bedfordshire in 1933. . When my grand parents moved to Dunstable they lived at 29 Alfred Street, Dunstable, then moved to Garden Road. I know my grandfather was a fireman, with London Firebrigade then Bedfordshire firebrigade. |
