Hi I am trying to find information on my Great Grandfather Richard Wilson (aka Pop). We have very little info on him he is a strange one. We know that he served in the first world war for the Irish Guards and recieved a medal for this. So we gather he was born around 1890- 1900. He is not on the 1901 census i have tried everything??!!!!?? He lived in Blacksmith Lane, Dagenham for many years until his death in 1975. He was married to Elsie, but was previously married to an Irish girl (name or anything unknown). He had 3 children - Irene, Betty and Pauline who were all born in Middlesborough. If anyoen has any idea how i can trace my Great Grandfather or if any of this rings a bell please please please contact me - i am stuck! Thanks Jane |
