Hi Everyone Trying to find the whereabouts of a Hannah Bell born 1854. William Bell (born 1819 Alston) married Ann Coulthard 1853 in Barton, Westmoreland. Their first child Hannah was born 1854 Penruddock and their second child Sarah Ann was born 1857 Barton. Both William and Ann Bell died in 1859 and their two children Hannah and Sarah Ann Bell were brought up by William's brother Thomas Bell who lived in Penrith. Sarah Ann Bell married Thomas Wharton in 1885 and had five children. Both Hannah and Sarah appear on the 1861-1881 censuses in Penrith. Sarah Ann Wharton appears on the 1891 census in Penrith with her husband but Hannah Bell doesn't appear to be in Penrith in 1891 or 1901. Cannot find a marriage or death for her in Penrith. Any information would be very welcome. Thanks. Irene |

My g.grandmother was called Hannah Eleanor Bell, born 1866'ish in Northumberland. I have been unable to find out anymore info about her, but after reading your message wondered if this could be the same person. |
