Hi i am trying to find any relative of my father Barry Wilson,he was born in the thirties and knows very little of his ancestry.He was born to a woman called Margaret Wilson who as far as he knows was never married.He believes his mother died during his birth and he could have been born in Rotherhan, Sth yorkshire or Halifax, W yorkshire.he was moved around alot as a child but eventually taken in by a family named Green and was brought up in Rotherham with this name untill he joined the army at 17 when he got his birth certificate and realised his name was Wilson.A member of the green family told him he had an older brother called Ken somewhere.If anyone has any information on Margaret Wilson or is a member of the Green family and can remember anything about my fathers ancestry please get in touch.I know its a long shot as he remembers that the greens children where all much older than him so will be in their 70s and 80s by now,but if anyone can help it would be great for me to peice together my ancestry |
