My Mother was Nellie Harrison born (Wessington) Chesterfield Derbyshire in 1901. She was an only child. Her Father was Stephen Harrison born ? place ? Her Mother was Mary Louisa Brookes born (Pilsley) Chesterfield, Derbushire, in 1873. Mary Louisa Brookes's Father was John Brookes born Stone Worcester in 1847. Mary Louisa Brookes's Mother was Ellen Salmons born Madeley, Shropshire in 1847. Mary Louisa 's siblings were:- (All born Pilsley, Chesterfield, Derbyshire.) Alice Brookes born c 1874 Hannah Rue Brookes born c 1877 Eleanor Brookes born c 1880 Samuel Brookes born c 1883 I think Samuel Brookes had a son Eric Brookes, who lived in the Pilsley area.
