Does anyone out there know anything about William and Sarah Jackson who originated from Ladywood/Lea Bank area of Birmingham. Sarah was born in 1870. I do not know Williams date of birth. They both worked at Pearce and Cutler glass works in Birmingham. William was a glass beveller and also worked as a barman at a pub in Perry Barr, Birmingham. They eventually moved to Metchley Lane Harborne. William was sadly killed on the way home from work he collided with a wall outside the White Swan Public House at the bottom of Harborne Hill, Birmingham. He sustained fatal head injuries |
