Trying to find possible descendants of Archibald ROBERTSON born South Shields about 1880, parents William Laidler ROBERTSON and Eleanor nee Shade. He ran away to Australia I know he lived near the Blue mountains as my father visited him whilst in the merchant navy. I have a death cert which I think relates to him. Lived at 25 Duke St.Sydney N.S.W Australia, butcher, divorced, died 20 June 1950. aged 52 Death cert states one son, . Info seems a bit vague so I don't think he was in contact with any family in Australia at the time of his death.My great aunt Florence had his ashes returned to UK and they were interred in Harton cemetery S. Shields. 14 April 1951 If anyone thinks they are his descendents I should be thrilled to hear from them |
