Does anyone out there have any information on an Eliza Thomas who owned a Cooked meat & Pie shop in Portmanmoor Road, Splott, Cardiff. I know she was there in 1926 as I have seen a photo of her in a book on Cardiff. A long shot I know but would be grateful for any information. I am also looking for any information on a Gwendoline Thomas who was brought up in a childrens home, possibly in or near Canton Sth Wales (Cardiff area). I know she had an association with the Methodist Church and Girls Brigade. The date would be around 1922-1938 approx. Her bible was presented to her by A W Woodley supt of the Memorial Hall Sunday School in 1935, I think this Sunday school was in Canton. Please can anyone help me.? Chris |
