Could you be a distant relative of my mine. My great great grand father was Thomas Wilson he was an engine keeper, he and his wife Mary nee Rodgers lived at 125 holigate? Broxburn in Scotland. They had seven children. James William Allan = my great grandfather Mary Elizabeth George Thomas They originally came from old monkland in lanarkshire, they came to broxburn and raised their family. My great grand father Alan Married Elizabeth Mackie Simpson also from Broxburn. Alan worked as a shale miner. He and elizabeth may have moved with their family to the Newtongrange area because of the mines. |
