I'm researching my family tree and am trying to find more information on JOHN ALLEN my 4xgrandfather. He was born in 1809 but where is still a mystery to me. I know he had a daughter LOUISA and a son WILLIAM, who is my 3xgrdfther. William was born in Norwich in 1840 and married Mary Ann ? They owned and ran a market garden business in the Mount Pleasant area of Norwich. Their offspring where WILLIAM born 1864 (my 2x grfther) MARY A A, GEORGE H, SYDNEY & WALTER. William ALLEN(jnr) married Eliza LINCOLN in 1894 and they lived near to his father and mother and assisted in the family business. I know from the 1881 census that JOHN, at the age of 72, was living with his son and family and was suffering with paralysis. I believe he died later on in 1881. Does anyone know where he was born or if they have any info or connection to any of my ancestors above I would love to hear from them.
