Hi, I'm trying to trace my family tree on both sides and need as much help as i can get. My parents names are Patrick Geoffrey Laurence Clarke and June Dorothy Brown, they were married in Worthing on July 29 1954, and migrated to Australia in March 1960. My mothers parents were Leonard Brown born 1906 and Dorothy Olive Rosa Brown born 15 december 1913. I believe my grandmothers maiden name was "Buss", as i've heard my mum talking about her grandmother Buss from Worthing. My mother has 5 silbings of which 4 live in australia and one remains in UK, they are Roy Brown, Barbara Brown (Giles), Patricia Brown (Paxivarnos) David Brown, and Pracilla Brown (Harris). I do know that at some stage during WWII the family lived in London and that my grandmother Dorothy was born in Paddington, but i believe there are ties to either Essex and/or Sussex. I also believe that my gradfather had a brother who lived or spent much time in Sth Africa and that my grandfather Leonard was a Sergent in the Army. I think there is a good possibility that i have living reletives both on the Clarke and Brown side of the family still alive in the UK, if it could be you i'de love to hear from you. Regards Mark |
