Samuel BAKER was born in 1820/21 in Pudsey, Yorkshire. He was an Engineer and Boiler Maker. I don't know where he was between that time and 1861 when he had moved to Bootle, Liverpool and was married to Elizabeth, nee HUTCHISON, born in Scotland. He had GRACE ANNE(became ASHCROFT),THOMAS SAMUEL,ELIZABETH,WILLIAM and JOHN. My children are descended from Thomas Samuel, who married Catherine McKNIGHT and had JESSICA,CATHERINE,THOMAS FREDERICK,WILLIAM KNOWLES, RALPH MCKNIGHT, MAY and ROBERT S. All were born in Liverpool. I would like to contact anyone who may be connected with this family.
