Hi All and Happy New Year My mother was born Joan Hall in Birmingham in 1927. I have a vague memory of her telling me that she once lived in Queslett Road, Pheasey, in Birmingham. She had 4 brothers who she lost touch with and hadn't seen for 40 years or more before her death in 1993. I think they were all younger than her and that one of them was called Wilfrid. I know nothing of her parents only that her Mother died when Joan was still quite wrong. Mum could never talk about her parents. She married Ernest Cotterill in the 40s and had 7 kids of which I am one. I realise what a common name Hall is and that this is a long shot but you never know. If any of you think you have any links to my Mothers family however small get back to me please. |
