Hi,I am a descendant of Bakers born at Kennett,Cam.In 1742 Thomas Baker married Ann Taylor, they were the first listed in the BT's ( PR was lost). It said botp but as no earlier Baker's were listed they came from somewhere else. Does anyone have the PR of Kentford, Sfk as that is the nearest village and I am wondering if they came from there? It is not easy to obtain the PR for Kentford. Six generations were born at Kennett so I am keen to hear from anyone who has early connections with Kennett. In the late 1800's family spread to London, Kedington, Newmarket, Sawston, just to name a few. |
