My husband and I are trying to trace the family of his Grandmother, Janet Davies, born November 1909 in Stockton on Tees. Her parents were David John and Louisa (nee Croft) who were married in Stockton on Tees in 1902 (although on the marriage certificate, David John appears as John). Louisa died in 1928. We believe that Janet had an older brother, and numerous younger siblings, one of whom was Rachel (poss marital name Simpson). Janet left home in 1943 when she became pregnant with my husband's mother, and moved to Birmingham. If anybody can help us with other family members we would be most grateful. Kath Bailey |
