Hi. I am trying to find information about my maternal grandmothers family. Her name was DORA ANNIE JOHNSON, born 11/9/1891, d.1926. Her father was JOHN JOHNSON, b ca. 1856 and mother was ELEANOR NORRIS b ca 1865. I believe Eleanor's mother was ANN NORRIS. DORA had two brothers, ARTHUR b. ca 1884 and JOHN J. b ca. 1886 and a sister LILLIE B b. ca 1889. I can locate the family just before DORA was born, via the 1891 census, in LOWER EARLEY. However they do not seem to appear on the 1901 census. I can only find LILLIE B, living with ANN NORRIS. DORA ANNIE married THOMAS WILLIAMSON (born 14/4/1878), in St. Pancras London on 12/5/1920. Dora had three children, Andrew b. 1921; Jean b. 1922 and Dora b. 1924. Jean is my mother and we would like to hear from any other descendents of this family. Thanks Denise |
