Trying to find Brown

I'm trying to trace my maternal grandmothers ancestry. Her name was Dorothy Brown and was born 23/4/14 in Fencehouses Nr Durham. She married Robert William Mill but she divorced after a rocky marriage and remarried during the late 40's early 50's and became a Hartis. She had 4 children Kenneth Mill, Robert William Mill, Joan Mill and John Hartis. She died 9/2/69 in Fencehouses. I know her parents or grandparents lived at and ran the Floaters Mill in Co Durham during the late 18oo's early 1900's which I beleive is now a pub. If anyone has any info on her parents or grandparents please let me know. |
