Trying to find Brown

My father's paternal grandfather was HENRY BROWN. We think he came from the Manchester area, and, guessing from the ages of the generations in the family, he must have been born in around the 1840s/50s. He had a son (HARALD KINGSLEY BROWN, born in the 1880s) and 3 daughters (MURIEL, GLADYS and POUPEE). The family were possibly in Edinburgh by the end of the 19th century, as my grandparents HARALD and GWENDOLINE WORMALD (married 1914) lived there, and this is where my father (ALASTAIR KINGSLEY BROWN), aunt (ELAINE) and uncle (RANALD) were born. I know there are a lot of Browns out there, but I wonder if anyone can help me trace Henry, his parents, wife, any siblings, or can connect me to any children of Harald's sisters, about whom I have practically no information? |
